A dual qualified dietitian and diabetes educator with a decade long of experience in empowering clients to optimise their wellbeing and achieve their health goals through dietary and lifestyle choices.

I created Holistic Dietetics because I am committed to providing the best possible care to my clients and guide them on their journey of health upgrade using evidence based knowledge. I strive to help keep them on track amidst other life priorities because our health IS a priority in life.

Being multilingual (English, Malay, Mandarin and Hakka), I have worked with clients from all walks of life and of varied cultural backgrounds. My career has seen me work with clients to manage various health conditions ranging from chronic diseases like hypercholesterolaemia, endocrine issues such as diabetes to specialties in women’s health for example polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) as well as reproductive concerns including infertility.

I believe the best way in helping my clients achieve their health goals is through an individualised, practical and holistic approach using culturally appropriate strategies. I am here to walk alongside my clients so they are ready to Eat Well, Move More and Love Life!

My nutrition focus areas include:

  • Pre-Diabetes

  • Gestational diabetes

  • Type 2 diabetes

  • Type 1 diabetes in adults

  • Weight management, both malnutrition and obesity

  • Women’s health such as polycystic ovarian syndrome

  • Reproductive health including infertility

As a Credentialled Diabetes Educator I am also able to:

  • Provide and demonstrate the use of a blood glucose monitoring machine

  • Register and renew NDSS

  • Discuss diabetes, its complications and target levels for BGLs, HbA1c, lipid profile etc

  • Review glycaemia control including medications and insulin regimen

  • Review injection technique and injection sites

  • Discuss complications e.g. hypoglycaemic episodes, sick day management, fasting, pregnancy, travel etc

  • Comprehensive diabetes education as part of annual cycle of diabetes care
